The Registrar

Dr. David Imhonopi is a Fellow of Management Leadership and Productivity Development and also an Associate Professor in the Department of Sociology, College of Business and Social Sciences, Covenant University, Ota, Nigeria. He is currently the Acting Registrar of the Institute of Management Leadership and Productivity Development. In his chequered but interesting 14 years of teaching and research in the University, he has supervised over 150 undergraduate projects and over 20 Master’s dissertations and presently co-supervising a PhD candidate in Covenant University. Aside his teaching responsibilities in the university, he has attended both local and international conferences, workshops and seminars. He is also an established researcher with more than 60 published articles in reputable local and international journals.

David Imhonopi has been considered for different editorial positions in both local and international journals, where he has constantly shared his experience and knowledge in reviewing academic works of colleagues who incidentally are from different parts of the globe. He is a Reviewer for the International Journal of Civic Engagement and Social Change, Pennsylvania, USA; Article Editor, Sage Open, USA; Article Editor, IGI Global, Pennsylvania, USA; Reviewer, Academic Journals, Kenya; and Reviewer/Editor, College of Business and Social Science Journal, Covenant University, Chairman editorial board international journal of management, leadership and productivity development of the institute of management leadership and productivity development among others.

For his contributions to epistemic production and expansion, and for his pleasant work ethic that is both relational and results-oriented, he has received numerous awards from bodies such as the Manager’s Club, Industrial and Labour Relations 2006/2007 Finalists (OOU), the Nigerian Sociological and Anthropological Students Association (NSASA) and Association of Industrial and Labour Relations Students (ASILARS, OOU), among others. He is a member of many professional bodies some of which are the Nigerian Anthropological and Sociological Association (NASA), the International Sociological Association (ISA), the Nigerian Sociological Society (NSS), the Institute of Corporate and Business Affairs Management (ICBAM), Institute of Strategic Management (ISM), Chartered Institute of Project Management (CIPM)
